A Berry Healthy Smoothie

With the glorious weather we’re having we’re in need of a delicious, cool and healthy drink to get us through summer. Everyone in the Havetolove Active loves a healthy smoothie; so, we are going to share on of our favourite recipes with you.  YOu can even pour them the mix into a ice lolly tray and have healthy ice lollies to cool you down.


What you will need:


 Blender
 ½ cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
 ½ cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
 1 sliced banana (fresh)
 ½ cup milk (we suggest coconut or oat)
 ½ tbsp honey
Once you have all of the above then all you been to do is blend all ingredients together has you will have delicious and healthy drink. If your feeling adventurous why not try added some blackberries or blueberries.

Tips
 Frozen fruit will give you a thicker smoothie then fresh.
 If using fresh fruit add some ice to keep your smoothie cool.

Bananas are packed with serotonin for that feel good factor and we suggest using local honey which is great for combating hay fever!
